He says that he had the impressions that the standards for sushi are high both in Japan and abroad. If you want more than that, plan to go to another place after you satisfy your sushi craving. For instance, you can hop to a nearby ramen shop or izakaya joint. You can have tempura, teriyaki, rice bowls, and way too much more. In Japan, wasabi is already added onto your sushi so you do not need to add more.
In fact, the amount of wasabi is added according to the type of fish. Wasabi and soy sauce mixed together actually weakens the strength of the zesty spice. So do not mix it together.
