Having said that, we all have a little "copycatting" tendencies in us. In fact, the whole fashion industry depends on it. But when does having our personal style copied actually cross a line? And is there anything we can or should do about it? Firstly, should you even care if someone copies your style? Is it worth getting upset over? It's sometimes hard to not care when someone copies your style. Psychologically, why does it bother women SO much? While it feels flattering to be admired by those we love, being copied can often feel like identity theft.
Like the other person is trying to take away or rob us of our uniqueness. So, although initially flattering, this compulsion to imitate can feel aggressive. If you scratch the service, it feels like an insidious kind of envy; especially in the worst case scenario.
Like the other person not only wants to imitate you, but replace you. Psychologically we would describe this type of personality, especially if it happens too intensely and frequently, as the type of person who has no sense of self. This lack of self prompts them to mimic or try to become exactly like someone else you in this case. Being around this kind of grossly insecure person, can understandably feel unsettling.
Let's say you have a friend who always copies your outfits, and who runs out and buys the same things as you. Sure, once or twice is fine, but when is the point where you can say something and feel okay about it? It will give you a chuckle, but they will still be copycats with no imagination of their own. Pity them. It will continue until one of you moves. Only a tall hedge will give you a feeling of separation, especially if they add a similar hedge. Here is a suggestion for these folks complaining about being copied.
You should put your design superpowers to use for good. Make design choices that are good for the environment and for your neighborhood and delight when people copy you. I live in California and have taken out most of my grass and landscaped with fire-safe and drought tolerant plants.
I planted lots of trees and showed my neighbors a good low cost place to buy trees. Now our street is filled with shade and lovely trees. I also added outdoor lights for security and helped others find the best options for their homes. Most of our garden is decked, with nice garden furniture, fairy lights, bbq and fire pit. We painted the fence and the decking so the boys decided to do their fence a few days later. Take it as a compliment if you think someone is copying you! I wouldn't normally mind but it's always a day or two after I've done it. Like my husband says, they never do anything until you do it.

We slash their I admit it's difficult to deal with such neighbor because I had such an experience. More than 10 years ago, I have been selling mobile phone loads, and nobody has been in such business in our community.
Hence, my business is doing well. After few months, our neighbor who is a relative tried to compete with me. We also have other business which he imitated. If he noticed someone will go to us, he will call them to come to him. Another neighbor also tried to join the competition. I decided to stop with my business and leave it up to them. Of course, I was annoyed but I can't do anything about it.
It's their right. Il tell him straight up, do those type of nonsense again and i will come personally in your home with a small team and remove every information you gathered of me, and make sure that he must never do that again. Talking with people who do those things will not help, police will not help either and the only thing what will help is showing your neighbor Actually in this situation, it may seems tough to cope with many but as long it is threatening your live.
I will say the best thing you can do is to continue the way you feel best for yourself and let them continue to remain jealous or envy about you. Maybe as time goes on, they might become tired and stop jealousing and if it still continues, maybe God want to use that avenue of jealousy to change their life or teach them a lesson also. In my own case, if i find out that my neighbour is jealous of me, I'll be proud of myself.
